She was born 17 September 1799 in New York ³, and died 08 August 1889 in Winchester, Winnebago County, WI³.

Passenger List for "The Importer" lists: Chas. Jones age 40, Mrs. (Jones) age 40, James (Jones) age 20, Susan (Jones) age 17, Joseph (Jones) age 9, Edward (Jones) age 6, Abraham (Jones) age 4, Jane (Jones) age 1. The Importer docked in New York on July 1, 1842. The captain was John McPherson and he signed the list on 20 June 1842.

"Worcester County Volume 2" Ellery, Bicknell Carne, editor; Lewis Publishing Co. 1907; pp115: Bio for Robert ASHWORTH lists information on his son, Thomas, partner with Edward JONES (Ashworth & Jones). Thomas's sister, Mary ASHWORTH (daughter of Richard) married Edward JONES, brother to our progenitor, Charles. "He (Edward) died March 7, 1885...He left a large estate to his brothers, Robert Jones, of Worcester, William Jones, of Milnrow, England, his sister, Ann Clegg, of Bradley Bottom, Lancashire, England; the son of his sister Betty, Edward Whitworth, of Milnrow, and to his wife. He left no children."

Neenah News Times, 18 March 1885: "Mr. Jones, of Winchester, and father of Receiver Jones of Menasha, died yesterday from the effects of a fall from a sleigh. His age was 84 years. He was well known and highly respected in this county. The funeral is on Friday morning."
