Notes for A
DELAIDE (ADOLIE) VERBONCOEUR:
In response to a query placed on FTM message board on 28 July 1998, Claude D. Brunelle (CDBrunelle@worldnet.att.net) suggested that neither Adolie or Verbon were common names. He suggested that her last name may have been VADEBONCOEUR (go with a good heart) as this is a common French name.

Received from Clement Bergeron <cbergeron@cyberus.ca> 13 April 1999: "Adolie Verboncoeur (or Vadeboncoeur) is the daughter of Olivier and Madeleine Lupien married at Maskinonge, QC on Marche 1, 1824. (From Drouin's blue books)." (Drouin's Blue Books are a series of registry of marriages by alphabetical order from 1760 to 1935 of all catholics in Quebec. Drouin was an institute which was doing genealogical researches 40-50 years ago, and their findings have been photocopied and published.)

Received from Family Researcher <Whobe60@aol.com> Newspaper Obituary: " Pioneer Woman Called By Death. Mrs. Zoel Dejarlais Died at Her Son's Home in South Dayton on Wed., March 1.
