The Schwartzman / Polack Families Home Page

Updated September 5, 2000

This home page refers to my research involving both my Dad's paternal grandmother Eva Schwartzman and my Mom's paternal grandfather Rudolph Polack. I am interested in learning more about each of these surnames Schwartzman, Polack, as well as the surname Zink.
Additional surnames which are in my family (alphabetically)include: Abrams; Adelstein; Applebaum; Cohen; DeYoung; Greenstein; Kleinman; Kleszczewski; Lederer; Lentz; Lesser; Lopez; Price; Sachs; Schwartz; Silverman; Zaks

Eva Schwartzman and her three kids Gussie, David, and Aaron (aka Harry) emigrated from the Ukraine [possibly Kiyev (fka Kiev)] between 1902-1906. It is estimated that Rudolph Polack emigrated from Germany during the late 1880s or 1890s.

Herman Bernard Zink and his wife Sarah Rosa Schwartz (my Mom's maternal grandparent's) supposedly worked as a tailor and seamstress for the NYC Rothchild's. No evidence to support this claim.
