The Scherrs of Virginia

The Scherrs in my family originally came from Switzerland and Germany. They then settled in Aurora, WVa, Washington DC, and Virginia. Julius Scherr, my great-grandfather, arrived in in the US from Switzerland and married Emilye Sievers whose parents were born in Germany.

I am also researching the Lloyd Calvin Shaffer family who settled in Aurora, WVa around 1860.
