This is my first attempt at a web page. Please be patient with me as I try to figure things out. Thanks.

Through both sides of the family, my roots are firmly in Ohio. As far as I can tell, most of my father's family is from Putnam County, Ohio and Germany before that. My mother's family is from Wyandot and Seneca Counties in Ohio and Frederick County, Maryland before that.

BRICK WALLS - I have several brick walls I am working on. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

1) Where did the parents of Elizabeth Ann (Wheatley) Cramer come from and where did they go?
2) Which one of Obediah Kirby's sons, Pleasant or John, was our direct ancestor?
3) Where did the Harks go who went West?

    This photo was taken in 1920 when Bessie was a baby. Her mother Minnie would die five years later after the birth of her fourth child. Minor remarried and can be seen in one of the other photos on this page with his second wife, Laura.

    This is a photo of the Hark family at their parents 50th Anniversary. Any help identifying people in the picture would be greatly appreciated.

    According to the info on the back, Anna is surrounded by brothers Lawrence & Peter and sisters Mary Berris & Lena (Mary Caroline?) Nagel. I don't know who is who. Dated about October 1956.
  • Albert & Elizabeth (Erhart) Hark Family (77 KB)
    Albert Nicholas & Elizabeth (Erhart) Hark with their children, Irene Katherine, Joseph Wilfred, Charles Anthony, Mary Elizabeth, and Louise Ann. I'm not sure which is which except for the parents and Irene.

    I need help. Can anybody identify these medallions (there are two, front and back, two on the left go together and two on the right go together). I believe they are from some Catholic church group.

    This picture was taken about 1882 in Missorui. Nobel was born in August 1880 in Wyandot County, Ohio and his sister Bessie was born in June 1882 in Jasper County, Missouri. Their younger brother, Minor Watson Kirby, Sr., wasn't born until 14 March 1897 in Wyandot County, Ohio

    This photo was taken on 30 September 1984 at their 50th Anniversary. Irene died on 2 December 1984. The party was in the basement of the Good Shepherd Nursing Home where Irene had lived for many years.

    This photo was taken in September 1934. Irene is standing on the right. Her new siser-in-law Louise (Schumaker) Hetrick is sitting on the stool on the left.

    This photo was taken 1 August 1964 at the wedding of their granddaughter Elizabeth Cramer to Verne Schumaker.

    This photo was taken about 1942 on their farm. The bike is one that Frank built.
