He married (1) Gudrun Alida Olsen November 9, 1929 in Minneapolis, MN. She was the daughter of Adolf Olsen-Kopperud and Karen Bredesen.

Notes for Anders Ludvig Schau:
Born on Borgaas Farm, Haerland, Eidsberg, Ostfold, Norway. Joined Norwegian Merchant Marines during WWI. Three times torpedoed in the North Sea. Crossed the equator in 1916. Came to America 1919 after the war and settled in Minneapolis.

Naturalized citizen. Studied language at University of Minnesota (Greek, Latin and English).

Was a Painting Contractor.

		ii.		Karen Evon Schau, born September 6, 1939 in Minneapolis, MN; married (1) Allan Marvin Stein May 7, 1966 in Palm Springs, CA; married (2) Samuel K. Stein June 20, 1976 in Newport Beach, CA.

Notes for Karen Evon Schau:
Active in Sons of Norway from 1987. Financial Secretary 1988-90, Treasurer 1991-1994, President 1995-2000. Recieved Presidents Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards, Most Improved Lodge 1995. Helped promote Norway, O Norway song written by two lodge members in 1997, words by Jack Mason and music by Rhonda Sandberg. Performed at District Convention June 1998 in Reno, International Convention in Anaheim, CA August 1998. Published in VIKING magazine May 1999. Now sung at nearly every SON lodge, and will be included in the new SON Song Book.
