She married Ernst Heinrich Ludwig Peschell on Jul 1878 in Stuttgart, Germany, son of Unknown Peschell and Unknown.

Great grandmother. Buried Park Cemetery Assn. 620 Lindley St. Bridgeport, CT. Family info indicates that she was very unhappy in her move to US and that she never learned English language. Her husband left her and moved to Canada where he married and according to family legend had another family of 7 children with the same names. I found no evidence of this but I did find him married to Mary Jane Walsh from Ireland living in Canada and they had three children. Supposedly, Ernst would come to Bridgeport, CT once in a while and may have had a wife besides Mary Jane because he was trying to leave his children with their older siblings when this unknown wife passed away. Fredericka was very upset with this situation and Francis and Helen Power would try to keep her out of the way of Ernst when he came to town. Fredericka was not looked upon with great fondness by her daughter Fredericka Power. Evidence points to Fredericke Cathrine Drauz beiong born 28 April 1849 in Heilbronn, Germany and baptised 13 May 1849 in Evangelisch Church in Heilbronn. One of the documents I have is probably an emigration request form with her birthdate. Wedding announcement July 1878, Stuttgart, Germany Fredericke Drautz from Heilbronn and Ernst Peschell from Mainz, Germany. Arrived in US on ship Bourgogne from Havre to New York Dec. 6, 1892. Meeting Ernst in NYC. Left France on Dec. 1, 1892. Lived in Brooklyn until 1896. Moved to Deep River, CT until 1899 then moved to Bridgeport, CT. I have baptism record of Fredericke in Evangelish Lutheran Church in Heilbronn, Germany. Has witnesses of parents and an Adam Schmidt, Friederike Drauz, and a Catharine ?.Baptized 13 May 1849.
