John "Colonel" Bolling (son of Colonel Robert Bolling and Jane Rolfe) was born January/27/1675-76 in Cobbs, and died April/20/1729. He married Mary Kennon on December/01/1697 in Cobbs, daughter of Richard Kennon and Elizabeth Worsham.

Notes for John "Colonel" Bolling:
Member of House of Burgesses. Settled and died on his Cobb's
plantation on the Appomattox River. Judge Windham Robertson is a
descendant.
