This photo shows my gg-grandfather, John Conrad Ruppel and his family in front of their home at Hohman, Washington County, Ohio. I believe that the photo was taken shortly before my great-grandparents' (John Charles Schoen and Helena Loretta Ruppel) wedding in October 1904. Pictured (left to right): Margaret Rose Ruppel (1891-1905), John Conrad Ruppel (1846-1912), Helena Loretta Ruppel (my great-grandmother; 1884-1955), and Minnie Ruppel (1883-1975).
