AGED PIONEER DIES Anton Lorenz, one of the highly respected citizens of Hokah township, died at his home Thursday, March 28, aged 70 years, 9 months, and 15 days. Funeral services were held from St. Peter's Catholic Church, Rev. Wermerskirchen officiating, and internment was made in the Convent Cemetery. Deceased leaves his widow, four sons: John, Frank, Anton, and Joseph; and four daughters; Mesdames Fred Schnedecker, George Sauer,Joe Schnedecker Jr. and Wm. E. Tschumper. Mr. Lorenz was born in Bohemia and came to this country at the age of 19 years.
