Notes for Isabelle Mc Cready: Mrs. Samuel Mackey passed away at her home Tuesday morning February 7 at the age of 52 years, after a three months' illness. Parney Isabel McCready was born July 16, 1876, at Hokah, living here until she was six years of age and going from here to North Dakota with her parents where she remained until she was 16 years old. December 23, 1892 she was united in marriage to Samuel Mackey of Mound Prairie and to them were born six children, two boys and four girls, one boy and one girl preceding their mother in death. Fourteen years ago the Mackeys moved to Hokah where they have since made their home. Beside her husband she leaves one son, Herbert of La Crosse and three daughters, Mrs. Isabel Eagon of La Crosse, Mrs. Ella Schleich of Caledonia, and Mrs. Bessie Carrigan of Mound Prairie; also six grandchildren and five sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Mackey, Mrs Blanche Mortimer, Mrs. Elsie Meyer, Mrs. Jessie Tooley of Valley City ,N.D.; Mrs. Jennie Aldrich of Berkely, Calif.; and one brother Albert McCready of Valley City, N.D. Funeral services were held Thursday at two o'clock at the Methodist church with interment at Mount Hope Cemetery, Rev. C.E. Sauter of West Concord, Minn., officiating
