This photo is of Thomas E. QUIGGIN standing on the verandah of the brick-and-tiled house that he built at 696 Pacific Highway, Killara, NSW. The location being almost opposite the Greengate Hotel, Killara. The house was probably built in about 1910, and included the IOM symbol, the Three Legs of Man, in the stained glass highlight above the front door. I understand that TEQ and his wife Lilly QUIGGIN nee RELTON lived there until his death in 1937. It seems that the house was demolished some years ago.
