This photo is of the house lived in by my grandmother, Mrs F. C. DOUGALL nee GALLAGHER, and her unmarried sister Elizabeth Jane(Jenny) GALLAGHER, from about 1927 until their deaths in the mid 1960's. The house was at 39 Kelly Street Scone, almost opposite the Belmore Hotel, where both sisters were born. An earlier owner was their anuty, a Miss Margaret TUITE, who ran a boarding house in the same premises. Mrs F.C. DOUGALL and Miss J. GALLAGHER then jointly ran a boarding house in the premises for almost 40 years.
