This photo shows Sophia KERMODE (previously QUIGGIN and nee KILLIP) with some of her QUIGGIN family on the IOM in 1921. The persons are (L. to R.):- Back row: William SCARFFE, Sophia KERMODE, Millie QUIGGIN (wife of Robert Daniel QUIGGIN, Lillian May SCARFFE nee QUIGGIN (wife of William SCARFFE), William Ernest QUIGGIN (probably unmarried at the date of this photo), Gladys QUIGGIN (eldest child of Robert and Millie QUIGGIN). Front Row: The three children of William and Lillian SCARFFE, namely Ruth, Arthur and May; and the younger two children of Robert and Millie QUIGGIN, namely Bert and Ronnie. The original photo was given to me by May MERCER(nee SCARFFE), one of the SCARFFE twins in the photo. The photo was taken during a visit to the IOM by Robert QUIGGIN and his family in 1921.
