Charles Ross Schubert emigrated from Bristol, ENG, to NZ and settled in Akaroa, District of Canterbury, in about the 1870s. He lived in a house at 40 Rue Jolie, Akaroa, which is still standing (2003). He has many descendants living in NZ and Australia.
