This photo is of my maternal grandmother, Frances Catherine GALLAGHER, wearing medals that she was awarded for violin playing. She was born in 1887 in her parent's hotel, The Belmore Hotel in Scone, and died in 1965 in Scone Hospital. She married John Mitchell DOUGALL in 1904, and they had one child, Helen Mary DOUGALL, my mother. The original image has been kindly colourized by John Jacob of Canada.
