These are my Grandparents. My Grandfather died about 11 months before I was born. He died on Christmas Eve 1954. I miss not knowing him. The only way, I have known him is thru pictures and stories, but I do love him, as if, I had known him. I knew my Grandmother tho. I remember, the stories of the one-room school house and traveling in the covered wagon and her playing "Little Brown Jug" on the harmonica. I miss her popcorn balls cooling on the back porch. I miss her laughter. She was a very loving, happy women, who loved me very much.

This photo was taken in 1980 at the Executive Inn in Vincennes, IN. Red was home on a visit. At the time, the photo was taken; I did not know, I was distantly related to him. I was so nervous in this picture. I was biting my lower lip. My Great Uncle John Scott was friends with Red. They married sisters. John use to tease Red because he was skinny and had that red hair. John would say, "Hey, Red! Where did you get that Skelton?" This is suppose to be where Red got his stage name. This photo includes Red's Autograph.
