I am seeking information about the Kaveney Family. They may have possibly spelled the last name Keaveny or Keaveney. My grandpa and his twin sister were born in the Los Angeles, CA area in 1906 about 4 months after their father died (he died 13 Feb 1906 probably from TB). Their father was Patrick John Kaveney, born Jan 12, 1872 in Haverhill, Essex County, MA (his siblings were born in Balleymote, Sligo, Ireland).

Patrick John Kaveney's parent's names were Michael Kaveney / Keaveny / Keaveney and Margaret Higgins. Patrick Kaveney had 3 brothers named: Thomas Francis, Michael Henry, Joseph J.. He also had 2 sisters who died in infancy, they were both named Mary Anne. The family had a pig farm in Haverhill, MA which has since become a city park. Michael and Margaret were from Balleymote, County Sligo, Ireland. They came to Haverhill, MA where Patrick John was born, they then returned to Ballymote, Ireland where 3 more sons and a daughter were born. They then again returned to Haverhill, MA between 1880 and 1884 where another daughter was born.

Patrick John Kaveney's wife and the twins mother's name was Anna Agnes "Annie" Dwyer. The only info that I have on her was that she was born 2 Feb 1877 in Kesh, County Sligo, Ireland, she died on 27 May 1939 in Los Angeles, CA. She may have also had 2 sisters named Nora and Kate. When Annie's husband died, his brother Tom and his wife Mary Keaveney took her and the children in(there were also 4 older children). They all lived in the family home called "The Drum Barracks" on Cary Avenue in Wilmington, (Los Angeles) Area.

I have been told that their were several Kaveney/ Keaveney / Keaveny relatives in the Boston, MA area, but I have no info on them.
