According to notes in the Biblioteque de Saintes, Oliver adopted the name Jullineau that was given to his father (It was actually Juiellineau but they were known both ways).
Oliver was a co-owner of a water mill in Courpignac. His partner was Francois Aunault, the notary. He was a literate man who could read and write and a member of the bourgeois class. He owner three properties, the water mill at Courpignac, a windmill at Guichardiere in the parish of Thenac and a mill on the river Seugne at Roisne, near the mill at Courpignac.
