Special Term of the Orphans Court 28th day March 1827

Ordered that William Atkinson be appointed guardian of Jonathan S.
Davidson, Isaac F. Davidson each above fourteen years old and Mary
Davidson about twelve years old John W. Davidson about seven years old,
Anna Davidson about seven years old five years old Margaret Elsester
Davidson about five years old minor children of Jacob & Elizabeth Davidson
it appearing to the satisfaction of the court that the two elder of the
said minors choose the said William Atkinson for their guardian.

The State of Alabama } Know all me by these presents that we William
Atkinson
Dallas County } Frederick Carnes and John McElroy are held
and firmly bound unto James Saffold Judge of the Orphans Court in the sum
of fourteen hundred dollars to be paid to the said James Saffold or to his
successors in office to which pay well and truly to be made we bind
ourselves and each of us our heirs our executors and administrators jointly
severally and firmly by these presents signed with our hands and set with
our seals and dated this 28th day of November AD 1827. The Condition of
the above obligation is such that whereas the above bound William
Atkinson has been duly appointed guardian to Jonathan S. Davidson and
Isaac F. Davidson each above fourteen years old John W. Davidson about
seven years old Anna Davidson about seven years old Editha Davidson about
five years old Margaret Elsester Davidson about five years old minor
children of Jacob and Elizabeth Davidson Now if the above bound William
Atkinson shall well and truly perform all the duties that are or may be by
law required of him as such guardian then the above obligation to be void
otherwise to remain in full force virtue and effect
