I am currently researching the life and times of Thomas Taylor, Platonist, 1758-1835 and his family. I have been tracing his descendants for some years and would also like to learn more about his ancestors and to share this research with others.

Additionally, I am tracing various lines of my family including Searle (East Devon, Bristol and London), Girling (Norfolk, Oxfordshire and London), Law (Shropshire/Staffordshire), Wilson (Oxfordshire), Young (Wiltshire, London and Liverpool)including John Young, a City Missionary and later Baptist Minister, who served as an evangelist with British Troops during the Crimean War; and the descendants of Samuel Beverly Jones, who married Mary Taylor, the daughter of Thomas Taylor
