The Seaton/Mouck(Mauck) Family Home PageUpdated September 5, 2000 |

| I am researching the MOUCK(MAUCK, MAC) family that immigrated to Prince Edward County Ontario about 1784. They could have come north with the United Empire Loyalists from Pennsylvania and may have been Pennsylvania Dutch. Or they may have been the family of a Hessian soldier named Gotlieb MAUCK who may have married in the U.S. before emmigrating to Upper Canada with a wife and three small boys. My Great-great-grandfather, Michael MOUCK was born in Upper Canada or Canada West, as it was also called, in 1784 according to the 1860 Ontario Census. Any information would be appreciated and may get me through the brick wall that that I have come up against. James Wm. Seaton, 321 George Street, Port Stanley ON N5l 1C5.
