Welcome to the Seaberg Family World-wide Web Research Project.
I am developing family history records with a particular focus on my grandparent's decendants. I am also compiling data on my wife's family in order to provide my children with a complete genealogical picture.

All of my grandparents and their ancestors resided in New England, primarily Connecticut and Massachusetts. My mother's parents were Herbert Booth TURNEY and Alice Birdsye DREW. Both of these families are of English decent, having come to America in the late 1600's. My father's parents were John SEABERG and Signe Wilhelmina SODERLUND, both of Swedish origin. My grandfather, John, immigrated from Sweden in the late 1800's and changed his name from SODERBERG to SEABERG due to the difficulty of correctly pronouncing his original name.

My wife, Celeste Margret, is of Italian decent. Her parents are Mary PIRISINO and John DALMASO, both from the Baltimore area. We are also interested in any information on these two families, as our personal records are few.

I have good records of the TURNEY and DREW lines, but little for SODERBERG and SODERLUND. I am anxious to fill in some missing links in my family tree, so willingly share any information I have at my disposal.
