Joseph Dunkin Seale of Jasper,Tex.& Waurika, Okla.

Recently, I have begun the search for relatives I have never known. Unfortunately, neither of my parents (Stone Joseph Seale and Grace Myrtle Dunkin Seale) ever told me any facts concerning our family. My status is retired and living in Valley View, Texas. Because I had learned early in life that my parents and their families were living in Jasper, Texas before they moved to Waurika, Oklahoma where I was born, I recently picked up the search by traveling to Jasper in search for our "roots".

Fortunately, due to many Seale family members in Jasper and through the cooperation of the Jasper County Historical Society we were able to locate the fact that my father, Stone Joseph Seale's father was Joseph Seale, son of Joshua Seale, who migrated to Jasper, Texas in 1850 from Jasper County, Missippi.

We also learned my materal grand parents were A. L. and Susy Dunkin, originally from Oklahoma who migrated to Jasper, Texas and then in early 1900's returned to Oklahoma and settled in Waurika, Okla.

We are in search of any one who can fill in any of the missing family facts not shown above.
