Researching Searle family. Earliest known ancestor is John Searle(1) who came to Boston in 1634 and was a settlor of Springfield Mass. in 1635. He was a brother of Edward Searle of Providence, Rhode Island and Adrew Searle of Ipswich, Mass. Married Sarah Baldwin March 19, 1639 and died August 11, 1641. They had one son John Searle(2) born in Springfield, Mass. March 30 1641. John(2) married Mary North May 1675. I am looking for any ancestors of John Searle(1) and any descendants of John Searle(2) as well as collateral lines. Any copies of any documents, books or other records would be appreciated. Iam willing to exchange any information I have. I am especially interested in obtaining copy of the SEARLE RECORD collected by Sardis Chapman presented by the Submit Clark Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, Easthampton, Mass. January , 1939. I am willing to purchase an original addition or a bound copy of the SEARLE RECORD.
