The George and Margaret Fortune Seaworth Family

I am interested in learning more about my family history and building my family tree. My father's family, the Seaworth's of Calvin, North Dakota originally came from Ogle County, in Illinois. The earliest generation of the Seaworth family immigrated to the United States from Bavaria in 1836. My Dad's mother's family, the Nicolson's were from Scotland.

My mother's family, the Fortunes of Bismarck, North Dakota were pioneers in Dakota Territory. Originally they were from Trim, County Meath in Ireland. My maternal grandmother was a Weldon from Dublin, Ireland.

I am very interested in anyone who may have information about any of my ancestors and those who can update me on their decendants.
