I am at the very basic stages of trying to trace my ancestors family tree - struggling enough with recent layers. However, my main search is to see if one of my direct ancestors sailed to New England on the Mayflower and settled, as there seems to be an abundance of Sedgwick's within that area.

My uncle previously studied the Family Tree and believed that my Great Grandfather x 5 may well have pioneered 'Fort Sedgwick' in the West of America, and of which the 1970's TV series 'Sentinnel' was based upon. If anyone has news, information etc I'd be grateful to hear of it. Likewise, I would be more than wiling to share any discoveries.
