The Seekins of St. Albans, Maine, were a fun-loving farming family where everyone pitched in for work and fun. This photo taken after 1912 shows Jennie as the youngest although she also had a younger brother, Alfred, born before she was a year old. Four other siblings were likely not born when this photo was taken. From left, family members are Aunt Bertha Seekins Davis, Joe Seekins, Wyna Seekins, father S. Wesley Seekins, Gordon Seekins, Iva Seekins Neal, Harold Seekins, mother Flossie Emery Seekins, Jennie Seekins Springer in front, grandmother Susie Chase Seekins and grandfather Stephen Sylvester Seekins. The family resided on the Palmyra road in St. Albans. |
