Ellsworth Carl (E. C.) Seeley of Lexington, KY

I can trace my family back on the Seeley side to my great-grandmother, Virginia Seeley. According to the 1850 census her father was born in PA, and some family information say his father immigrated from Germany, but I do not have those names.
My paternal grandmother was Elizabeth Martin, daughter of Joseph Martin and Nancy Chesnut. I can trace the Chesnut line back a couple of centuries.
My maternal great grandparents on the Koehler side immigrated from Germany to Wisconsin and later to Garrard County, KY, where my mother, Louise Koehler was born to Edward Koehler and Mary Noaks. The Noaks family were from that area, but I have no knowledge of their derivation.
I married Sara Lee Taylor in Valdosta, GA in 1946. We have three children Barbara Ann (Joe) Moore, Robert G., and Thomas C. (Teresa Sharp). Sara Lee and I now live in Lexington, KY. as of August 5, 2005.
