Guy Seese Family Tree (looking for Seese, Larsen, Olsdatter)

Updated November 23, 2000

Guy Edward Seese

New York, NY

guyseese@aol.com

I'm interested in finding information from both sides of my family.

On my father's side, I know my Great-great-grandfather's name was William Martin Seese who was married to Caroline Gum in Springfield, Illinois in the 1890's. They had four children Lela, Martha, Powell and William Jr. Powel Anton Seese was my Great-grandfather. I would like to know where my Seese ancestry is from, whether German, Dutch or other. I know nothing about Caroline Gum.

I'm also interested in my mother's Swedish/Norweigian heritage

On the Swedish side, my mother's father's father was Erik Persson (or Pearson.)He married Ingrid Christina Sahlin in Sweden and had two children, Carl Pearson (my grandfather) and Hugo Pearson.

On the Norwegian side, my mother's mother's father was Iver Johan Kristian Larsen of Norway, son of Lars Johan Iversen. Iver was married to Otelia P. Jorgensen also of Norway. All the Larsen's I know live in the Pacific Northwest. Iver's mother (married to Lars) was Helena A. Olsdatter, they has 6 children.
