|Look at the bottom of this page to see the Book and Master Index and a huge Family Tree.
In the Book you will find the family listings as I have found. This does not mean it is perfect and corect as it is not. It is not proven in every case so make sure you do additional research to verify what you are looking at is correct.
I will be sending new updates as I am able, hopefully with corrections as I find the errors. If you know of any errors let me know and I will fix them.
We are searching the surnames of;
SEGALOV/SEGALOVITCH/SEGALOWICH, BRODY, KATZ, ALTSCHLUR, ARBUS, BORNSTEIN/BORENSTEIN, MILLER, and SMITH for my family members.
GEISEY, LOCY/LOSEY/LOSEE/LOYSE/LOOSJE, de ZEEUW, JANZEN, KOLFS/COLFS, PIETERS, HASENRAEK, PURCELL, STEELE, and WEBB for Jacquie's family members.
My wife's LOCY family comes from the Netherlands/Holland region and we have been able to trace a branch to the founding of New York in the early 1630's and a bit further to the Netherlands about 1595. We have very little information on the GEISEY family.
My family all comes from Russia. My Father's family from a place known as Kherson Guberina in the Ukraine, my Mother's family from a town called Disna in the Guberina Vilna located in Belarus and in an area known as Galacia which may have been part of Lithuania or Poland.
Any information on any of these families will be accepted gratefully.
We both are learning about how our ancestors lived. This is the best history lesson I have ever had. I truly enjoy this research into our personal history.
