The Sekulic-Gillispie Family Home Page

Updated February 15, 2005

Here it is...

The Gillispie side of the family is a bit difficult to obtain. It seems that in the mid 1800's there was an indian marriage. One that was neither "legal" nor "documented" so there are no records that can be found at this time. If you know of anything, please feel free to contact me.

However I have researched the Lester side (my maternal branch) of the family back to Peter Lester Sr., born 1660 in England. However

The Sekulic side comes directly from Croatia in the early 1900's so there is very little information that can be obtained at this point before they arrive. There is a branch in the Colorado area that I haven't been able to find as of yet. But I am still looking.

But the Steyart-Lewis side in completed up until William Lewis, born 1622 in Ireland.

NOTE: The Lester side of the family has a Family Reunion every July so if you are interested in attending or would like more information about the time, date or place for the next get together, please feel free to e-mail me!
