George and Christine Sekerak emigrated to the United States around the turn of the centuryfrom a little village in Slovakia, named Bajerovce. They lived for a while in Marblehead, Oh. Shortly thereafter, they moved to Cleveland, OH and lived for the rest of their lives.Christina died in 1929. George died in 1952. They had 5 children, George, Marie, Pauline, Susan, and Katherine.George married Maria Zelenak in Feb, 1915. Maria was from a village in Slovakia named Krize. She immigrated by herself around 1911. She and George had 3 sons, Michael, George, and William. Michael is my father. He was born in Nov 1915 and died in Nov. 1990.I am researching my family's roots back to Slovakia. Anyone having information concerning any of these relatives, please contact me.
