| I am just beginning to research my family history using Family Tree Maker. My father's family were based in Bath for many years: my great-grandfather, Edward Victor Selley, owned a fish shop on Combe Down during the mid 1900s. They also lived at Hinton Charterhouse. I am working on tracing the family back from there. There were a large number of Selleys living in Devon in the late 1800s and it seems likely that there is a connection but I haven't found one yet. | |
