First, we would like to thank Edna Michael for the research done on the Michael family, and Mason Martin for the research he has done on the Martins.
Mike's Martin family is from Texas, and before that Georgia. We are having some trouble finding anything before that. We have found Lemuel on a 1850 Washington County Census. Listed as living nearby is Pricilla Martin aged 93 born in North Carolina. So we suspect they may have come to Georgia from North Carolina. We have been unable to find the link between Pricilla and Lemuel. Also, Mike's grandmother, Ella Holland is from Texas. We have been unable to find anything on either of her parents, Sam Holland and Thurzie(sp?) Jane Hamrick.
Juanita is working on the Sells and Mossman family from Ohio. We have combined them. They are both very elusive, and not easy to research. The Stout, James and Breeden families are from Missouri. Juanita would like to thank Duston Stout for supplying the Stout family history. We have found the Breeden's to be difficult to verify, as there are alot of conflicting dates and names. Please feel free to let us know if you find any information that needs updating or corrected.
We would love to hear from any of our 'cousins' and anyone with information to share. If we can help you out with your searching, please let us know........
