Demetra Ada Gardner (b. January 16, 1908, d. October 11, 1998)
Notes for Demetra Ada Gardner:Ada grew up in Callahan County and Stephens County, Texas. She married and the family lived in Graham. Eventually the family moved to Alameda, California, where she worked as a bookkeeper and Clint worked at the Mare Island shipyards during the war. She remarried and moved back to her second husband's home in Greenwood, Mississippi where they had a daughter. She was noted for her kind and generous nature and was greatly loved by all who came into contact with her during her long life. The great tragedy of her life is that she lived to see all three of her children and one grandchild die prematurely and under tragic circumstances. She died of Alzheimer's Disease. She is buried in Schlater, Mississippi, next to her second husband, Walter Wilson.
