1. PHILIP HENRY⁴ SELLERS (JOHN LEONARD³, PHILIP HENRY², HANS ADAM¹ SOLLER) was born December 03, 1752 in Bucks Cnty PA, and died 1834 in Franklin Cnty PA. He married SUSANNA in Bucks Cnty PA.

Data shown from "Pennsylvania Births, Montgomery Co." by John T. Humphreys. . Birth date for Michael is baptism date. Henry was shown as a weaver in Bucks Cnty and Franklin Cnty. Henry ,and wife Susanna, sold their land in Bucks Cnty PA in 1789.

Henry was adminstrator of John's estate (brother John died in 1800 in Franklin Cnty). Henry also took care of Sarah Smith's Franklin Cnty estate in 1823 and was guardian of some of Michael Sellers' children until he died in 1834 and a new guardian was appointed. Of interest, Henry affirmed on the adminstration of accounts;his religion probably prohibited swearing of oaths.

Tax records indicate Henry,brother John, and sister Anna Maria(MS Joshua Dungan) came to Franklin Cnty PA by 1796.

Census searches in Antrim,Franklin,PA show a Henry Celler and wife both over 45 in 1810. Seven people are shown in household but several of the son's could easily be gone by that date, only one son age 16 to 25 is shown. Only names of household heads are shown on census before 1850 and it is very common to find folks with different names living with families. Both the 1820 and 1830 census show Henry and son Leonard as household helds,and listed in sequence with proper Sellers name. Leonard's age is understated in 1830 data which has confused folks doing research in prior years. Leonard's family reflects two sons under five in 1830 census which tracks. Wife is shown between 20 and 30 which tracks with Elizabeth's recorded 1803 birth. A young girl,under 10, is listed which does not correlate but she may well be a relative's child.

Date shown is recorded in Indian Creek Reformed Church, Montgomery Cnty, PA is baptism date.
Henry eventuall became guardian of some of Michael's children.

According to Joanna A. Baker, Joseph Greer and Mary were living next door to the Widow of Michael Sellers. Although it is not stated, I assume this is in Franklin Cnty PA also. rls
