| This Home page is currently under construction. I will be adding last names and info as I recieve them. I am trying to research both sides of my family and my husband's family. The Clink side of my mom's (father's side) family has been started and research at some length. The other side of the families little is known. My dad's parents are both immigrants from Poland. They were marrried and lived in Detroit Michigan when they arrived here (i believe). My grandmother we know was married ATLEAST 3 times of which 4 children were born and died when my father was 15. She has a colored past (*smiling* as my father has told me). My father side of the family has the last name of Aftanas My husband's side has not really been researched. My father in law's side of is Semrau (can only trace back to a few generations where a great grandfather came over as a servant. we know he was an orphan and took on the family's name he lived with. his mother side is the McTrusty's from Milwaukee. I love to share any information I have on our families and would appreciate any information anyone has... please email me. Note to Family memeber: My son and I will be creating a separate page in the near future for a form to fill out with any information you are willing to supply... If there is any information that you want to be kept with in the family and not supplied to others in this research project, let me know. The link will be added here when it is finished. I would appreciate any information you can supply me on the Aftanas, Semrau, Clink, and McTrusty families. |
