I am doing research on my mothers ancestors, Young, Mitchell, Owens, Ross and Bullock Families. As far as I know the Mitchells and Owens came from Alabama in late 1800's and the Youngs, Bullocks and Ross's came from Arkansas, also in late 1800's.

Mothers parents (Young/Mitchell) settled in Northeastern Louisiana, Calhoun and West Monroe.
