Greetings! I am researching the CLARK family from Burnet Co. Texas. My GG Grandfather was Isom Jackson CLARK. He married Margaret M. GREER and they raised their family in Burnet Co.. Other names connected with these CLARKs are BAKER,JAMES,GREER, STEWART, LESASSIER, TOWLES, TURNBULL, WILLIAMS. There are many other surnames but these are the ones I have been researching.
Isom Jackson CLARK shows up on census records from 1880 - 1920 always in Burnet Co. His birth state is given as Missouri. I have not been able to trace him any furthur. I was told by my Great Aunt that he spent some time in Van Zandt Co., Texas. Also that his mother died early and his father remarried. It is also believed that he had a brother named Frank. Any more information would be much appreciated!
