SEVERS< WILLIAM 1752

William Severs was said to be born l752 in VA by his children. His whereabouts is unknown until he married Catherine Peck in l793 in Montgomery Co VA. There were a number of children who dispersed to MO (Nodaway and Newton Co) AL AR KY and stayed in TN. His nationality is unknown but he seemed to have a lot of German friends and was a farmer and Blacksmith by trade. He seemed to teach that trade to the male children. His name was spelled differently most ever tyme it was written prior to l850. He died at age l00 in Nodaway Co MO. I have 2 or 3 generations of ancestors for his wife and they were all definitely German in Origin having emigrated in l740 to l753 era and all semed to come from the Rhine valley (Palitinate).
