| My family tree includes the names Johnson, Vanness, Replogle, Davis, Vannoy, and Stevens, and Llewellyn.I have traced many of the families back five generations. The oldest generations include George Washington Vanness b. 1755, Andreas Reblogel, William Replogle b. Kentucky, Nathaniel Vannoy, William Thomas Stevens, and Catherine Llewellyn. I am still researching all seven families.The Vanness's went from New Jersey to Ohio to Iowa.The Replogle's came to Iowa from Pennsylvania.The Davis went to McDonough County, Illinois and on to Iowa.The Vannoy's came to Iowa by train and covered wagon from North Carolina.The Stevens and Llewellyn's immigrated from Wales.I welcome any information and/or questions.
