This picture shows my grandfather Harry Bebensee and his two brothers William and Fred. It was reprinted in the Atlantic Herald newspaper. The teacher later became a principal and teacher in Atlantic. My mother had her as a teacher. They both had the same birthday and she would always invite my mother to her office for a piece of cake. She was mean to the other kids but always nice to my mother. My maternal grandmother remembers some of the other children in this picture and my mother played with some of their children while growing up in Atlantic, Iowa.
