The Carl P. Seyffert Family Home Page

I am researching the Carl P. Seyffert Family that entered Texas through Galveston and settled in Fayette County Texas during the mid 1890's. My family came from Germany in the Alsace Lorraine area. I believe that this is now a part of France. Although I understand that the name Seyffert orginated in and around Dresden Germany.
By searching the enternet there are Seyffert's by this spelling in several countries, Germany, Austria, USA and Mexico.

Any help from some one on this subject would be helpful.
