      Harold N. Hansen, 77, long-time resident of LuVerne who had been living at the Good Samaritan Home here in recent years, died there Sunday.
      Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Olaf's Lutheran Church at Bode, with Rev. Norman Johnson officiating. Burial followed at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens here, with McCullough's Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
      He was born near Oslo, Norway Aug. 20, 1890, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nickoli Hansen. He was married Oct. 16, 1916 at Bode, and his wife, Dagmar, preceded him in death Nov. 26, 1965. They farmed in Nebraska for 20 years, then farmed in the LuVerne area, retiring in 1957. He was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran church.
      Survivors include six daughters, Ann (Mrs. Russell Kelley), Algona; Twila (Mrs. Clarence Bathke), and Edith (Mrs. Edward Wiedman), Norfolk, Nebr.; Nina (Mrs. H. L. Watts), Calif.; Nordis (Mrs. Roger Mortinsbak), Clear Lake, S. D.; and Laura, (Mrs. G. Haushild), Orville, Calif.; two sisters, Ragnhild Kinseth, Ft. Dodge, and Gunhild, Norway; a brother, Loudwig, Norway; 30 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Dagmar Hansen Obituary:

      Mrs. Harold Hansen, 71, Bode, and former resident of the LuVerne area, died Friday morning at Lutheran hospital, Ft. Dodge, where she had been a patient since Nov. 21.
      Funeral services for Mrs. Hansen were held at 10 a. m. Monday in St. Olaf's Lutheran church, Bode, with Rev. Norman Johnson officiating. Burial followed at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens here, with McCullough Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
      Pallbearers were Milton Kinseth, Arthur Jensen, Junior Hardcopf, Robert Barber, Everett Schipull and Raymond Satree.
      Dagmar Alfreda Satree, daughter of Peter and Nicolena Satree, was born in Norway Aug. 10, 1894 and came to the United States at the age of 17. She married Harold Hansen at Bode Oct. 16, 1916 and lived in Nebraska for 20 years before moving to the LuVerne area where they farmed until 1947. She was very active in organizations of the Lutheran church at Bode.
      Besides her husband, survivors include eight children, Ann (Mrs. Russell Kelley), Algona; Harding, LuVerne; Clifford, Sioux City; Twila (Mrs. Clarence Bathke) and Edith (Mrs. Edward Wiedman), Norfolk, Nebr.; Nordis (Mrs. Roger Martensbak), Piedmont, S. D.; Laura (Mrs. Gerald Haushild), Hardin, Mont.; Nina (Mrs. H. L. Watts), Buena Park, Cal; a brother, Erling Satree, Fremont, Nebr.; three sisters; and her father in Norway; 28 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
