return home and meet his half-brother who shared his name.

"The Meeks Family" by Carlton L. Meek
Jacob Emigrated to America when 21 years old with his brother John i n1719 from Lincolnshire, England. He first settled along the James River in Virginia, then moved to North Carolina and Hagarstown, MD before finally settling in Washington County, PA. He married his secon dwife, Nancy du Valle in Maryland. Welsh decent. They had 10 sons an d3 daughters. His second marriage was to Nancy Du Valle, french descent, had 3 sons.

Per Danny Fluhart, Jacob, moved from Hagerstown to Annapolis to Pennsylvania. Also according to Danny, Joseph L. Meek tried to prove all his life that Jacob was a brother to Thomas Meek of Washington County ,Maryland and that they were both sons of Guy Meek and Dorthy Cobby .However no proof has been been established to proove this.

Per Cindy Pierce:

Jacob MEEK Sr. was born 1698 in Lincolnshire, England. He died 1790.
