The Old Pioneers Cemetery (Tisdale Cemetery) is located in Brantley a few hundred yards from the banks of the Conecuh River. It is in an open field next to the Old Brantley Black Cemetery. From the center of town headed at south at the intersection of Highway 331 and 29 turn left. Aprrox ½ mile turn right. Continue until the road ends. Those buried here are some of the original settlers of this area, circa 1860.

Only four graves are visible at the cemetery. With the exception of Barbie Lee Cook the names listed here are on a plaque erected at the site. There is very little physical evidence of those listed to confirm their actual burial at this cemetery.
