Leonard Stanley Scott, Jr., began his tour of duty in Vietnam on Tuesday, April 04, 1967 as a member of the United States Army. He was a SP4 and was assigned duty with the 25th Infantry Division. Leonard was killed as a result of small arms fire received from the enemy on Saturday, August 12, 1967 in the Hoa Nghia Province. He is listed on the Vietnam Memorial Wall for Vietnam in Washington, D.C. on Panel 24E, Row 105.
Scott was returned home for burial. He was 19. He left behind his wife, Shirley Arnett.

Clarence was a devoted and loyal member of the Masons. He was a Master Liaison with Lodge No. 47 in Tifton and received his Royal master and Select Master Degree in the Tifton Council, No. 58. He also received the Order of Red Cross, Order of Malta, and the Order of The Temple in Cethsemane Commandery No. 20, Fitzgerald, Georgia.
