* Szlamka's of Krupina Slovakia & Smithwick's of Ireland*

Updated September 27, 2003

The Smithwick's from Ireland and Buel Twp.,Sanilac Co. MI is the maternal side of my family. There are many people working on the Smithwick's and have created an impressive lineage of the family. I have posted links for the Smithwick family, they provide more information.

New information: have found that Szlamka was the spelling used in Hungary and was changed to Slamka when they came to the States.
The Szlamka's from (Karpona)Krupina Slovakia and Tonkovich's from Austria Hungry (now Craotia) are the paternal side of my family. I have just started this search, as I gather information I will post it.

    Maud (Milly) is the youngest of Peter Smithwick Jr's children. This is the lady I have done all the research for. Milly is my most gracious and loving Mother. She has went all her life not knowing much about her early years as her father and mother died when she was young. After their death family members took her in to work for them. Her Brother Edward provided the most stable and normal home life for her.
