I am searching for information on the children of Fenton D.C. Shaw and his wife, Lovina R. Scarritt. Both Fenton and Lovina came from Illinois. In the 1860 Census, they were living in Garden Grove, Iowa and had a daugher, Jessie L. Shaw, born in 1858. In the 1870 census, they lived in Corning, Iowa and had the following children: Eugene H., Winthrop G. Lillie May and an Irene S. Scarritt residing with them, age 19. In the 1880 census, they lived in Corning, Iowa and had the following children listed: son, Eugene H. Shaw, born in February 1861, son, Winthrop Shaw,born in 1864, daugher, Lille May Shaw born in 1867 and son, Lydon Shaw, born in 1873. In the 1900 census, their son, Eugene H. Shaw is married to Clara Cruzen Shaw, daughter of George Cruzen and Sarah Cruzen. They had four children: George Fenton "Bon" Shaw, born in 1892, Carl Gavin Shaw, Eugenia Shaw and Homer Shaw. Eugene disappeared sometime after 1900 and before 1910. Any information on the other childen of Fenton D.C. Shaw will be appreciated. Both Lille May and Lydon moved to California. I am unable to find any information on Winthrop.
